I just LOVE this time of year!
Hey everyone! Happy Fall! I'm Amy from Cahill's Creations and I'm here to share some great ideas that you can do in your early elementary classroom this month.
Every morning, my kinder kids start their day by doing a math journal page. They have become so independent and confident with this! You can find it {HERE}.
During math time, all of the games/activities are hands on and very engaging! I change out the theme of the cards each month, but the game stays the same. You can find this game {HERE}.
I also made a bunch of {November printables} that kids can do if they finish their work early or if I need something extra for them to complete.
My class will be learning about Veterans Day. I made an emergent reader that the kids will be able to read, color, and take home. We're also making a veteran using shapes. Our focus this week is shapes, so what better way to integrate multiple standards in one fun project! I love when it works out that way! Grab the free book {HERE}
To make the veteran, I cut the shapes ahead of time. The kids will write a sentence about veterans.
Grab the writing paper & heart {HERE}.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all enjoy your November in and out of your classrooms! :)
